"Shhhhh. Do you hear that. That's right, it's nice and quiet now that all of these posts have finally been put to bed. It wasn't easy though as there were a lot more of them to tuck in this time. Most of them only needed some soft music and a story before drifting off, but there were a few troublemakers in the bunch. Eventually they all settled down and daddy can get a little sleep himself now. So sit back, prop your feet up, and enjoy the second installment of the Pediatric Grand Rounds."

"A popular saying in pediatrics is that children aren't just little adults. The wisdom of taking this to heart when approaching all aspects of pediatric health becomes clearer every day as I progress through my training. Kids are unique and have health issues every bit as interesting and complex as adults, and the people who raise, counsel, and treat them deserve a forum to discuss these issues. I had the idea to start a pediatric version of Grand Rounds a couple of weeks ago and I received some great submissions that are a solid foundation to build on. Here goes. "
